Jade World Trading was established in 1978 and is a business owned and operated in Vancouver, British Columbia. The organization specializes in the distribution of fine jade jewellery, unique jade carvings and Canadian handmade original sculptures. Our main product line consists of items manufactured in nephrite jade. Our other products include rhodonite, paua shell, mother of pearl and Canadian mammoth ivory. Custom designs are always welcome.
Although the Orient is often the first image that often comes to mind when jade is mentioned, historically, peoples all over the world have used this lustrous rock for tools, for art, and for decoration. From its establishment in 1978, Jade World has sought to continue this tradition by bringing innovative jade products to the global marketplace.
Our company is conveniently located in the province of British Columbia, home to world-renowned deposits of the purest and most translucent nephrite jade. Our carvings have gained international recognition, and you may recognize our jade staircase in the atrium of the Sheraton Anchorage. While jade is our primary interest, we have recently expanded our collection to include rhodonite and aventurine. Jade World products can be found in both Canada and the US.
